This five minute film showcases three women attending classes at Shree Shradha Women’s School (SSWS) in Kathmandu, Nepal. Each woman describes educational barriers and shame she faced due to illiteracy and the positive transformations education has made in her life. Sanu Rai, founder and principal at SSWS gives us a brief history of the program.
Bridges Between is delighted to support the work at SSWS with financial endowments, outreach and volunteer opportunities. Check our website for more information and our Facebook and Instagram pages for weekly updates of this and other women’s empowerment projects in Nepal.
